Controllers Program

Registration closes September 24th, 2012

Program is limited to 35 participants.

This program is based on two modules of the Carswell Controller’s Guide: Management Control, and Management Planning and Reporting. It focuses on important core topics of Controllership and serves as an overview of the role of the controller– especially in an SME (small to medium sized, enterprise). Time is assigned to topics based on their relative importance to the controller’s activity, and a wide range of tips, ideas and discussion is generated that can help controllers develop and share best practice activities.

The format includes direct instruction, facilitated discussions and group activities, using set topics or case studies. This three-day program also includes core areas of The Code of Ethical Principles and

Rules of Conduct (CEPROC) including practical application of ethical issues in key aspects of a controller’s position. Experienced guest speakers have also been invited to cover topics on tax, and information technology systems, including e-commerce issues.
